Another one bites the dust
After 1 week of fighting, patient with both breast and uterine cancers coupled with metastasis to the liver and abdomen finally let go.
She was a tough lady. Despite having a hard time breathing, she still refused to have oxygen until she was too weak to resist.
I learned a lot from her this past week, when the Spirit is strong, anything is possible.

Opening a Medical Spa or Wellness Center
I've been rummaging through some papers trying to compile a set of resources for a business plan for a medical spa/wellness center.
Metformin for Cancer Stem Cells?
Hmmm... A great idea is brewing up :)
At least now everyone must realize that chemotherapy alone doesnt guarantee a complete eradication of cancer cells.

Movie Addict
Recently, I have been addicted to watching movies such as Beautiful Truth, What the Bleep, The Matrix, Supersize Me, Sicko as well as the Secret. All of them dealt with the fringe of medical science as well as views about health and society. Fringe meaning, its at the leading edge and not many people understand whats going on.
I wish these movies would move to mainstream and give people a real look at the situation!
